In geeky terms, Virtual Reality is the term used to describe a three-dimensional, computer-generated environment which can be explored and interacted with by a person. That person becomes part of this virtual world or is immersed within this environment and whilst there, is able to manipulate objects or perform a series of actions.

We look forward to welcoming you to Realm and experiencing the exciting immersive world of virtual reality! You should arrive 15 minutes prior to your allotted time so we can check you in, answer any questions you may have and watch a safety briefing on using the equipment. If you have any other questions our attendants are on hand to help you throughout your session. People may experience unexpected side effects during their VR session as with any motion related entertainment. If you feel sick or uneasy at any point during your session, we ask that you stop your session and notify Realm staff immediately. Realm is designed with safety in mind but be sure to wear appropriate footwear, high heels are not allowed! Each customer/player will be provided with a special shoe cover that fit over your shoes for your experience.
  • How do I book a time?
You can book your session in person, online or over the phone ahead of time. If you plan to walk-in, feel free to give us a call ahead of time to see if there is any wait. If you would like to book an event, please call or email us for availability.
  • How many people can play at a time?
We have a total of 12 rigs but each is designed for one player at a time. If you and a friend/s want to play at the same time you can rent two or more rigs and try out a variety of our multiplayer games. If you are with a large group then those not playing are able to watch the action on the big screen TVs from our chill out area.
  • Do you do Groups or Events?
It is possible to hire out the whole lounge for team building events, stag and hen parties, birthday parties etc. Please contact us for group rates and availability.
  • Can I play more than one game during my session?
You can only play one game in the 30min session, and generally only two in the 45min session. It is at the attendants discretion to change games. In the 75min session you can change your game around 3 times. Each session is booked on a timeframe basis. You can always extend your session as long as the rig does not have a prior booking.
  • Is the equipment cleaned between uses?
Yes, our Realm Attendants will clean and sanitize all of the equipment after each use.
  • Are there any age, weight or height requirements?
YES MINIMUM AGE OF 10 VR use is acceptable for ages 10 and above. 10-12 year olds will need to be supervised directly by an adult. Motion games require the player to be able to move the harness to trigger the sensors so smaller players might not be able to experience specific titles. Prolonged VR exposure is not recommended for under 10’s brain development. The waist of the KAT WALK (Deluxe Edition) is adjustable for users of different sizes. The lower part of the waist is worn to provide enough support when the user sits down, but it is not recommended for users above 100KG. It can be used by users with a height of 150-190CM.
